    Would've had Luke Wright in the squad as a T20 specialist personally. I think it's a decent squad though and I think England could go far in the tournament

    Dont need the likes of KP and Wirght anymore - its a new dawn , full of exciting young players who dont need the handbrake of someone like KP .

    agree about KP, think Wright would have been a better selection down the order than Billings personally. Not sure Dawson is good enough either.
    PS - Do like Billings just not sure what he brings to the team down at 7/8. Think someone like Wright who can bowl the odd over is a better choice. Also has been playing well in Australia.

    Luke Wright didn't bowl a single over for Sussex in one day or T20 matches last season. And his fielding would not be on a par with Billings who is more used to coming in down the order - Wright only ever opens.

    Plus, in a year or two Billings will be a far better player than Wright - AND, what did we ever win with Wright IN the team? - time for change and move on.

    Watching NZ v Oz and Oz opening bowlers are Hazlewood and Jackson Bird - a far cry from Micthell's Johnson and Starc steaming in at you. In actual fact, i remember being at AGeas Bowl last season and Bird couldnt even get into Hampshire first team.

    To be fair to Root, including the ball that dismissed Hales, those five batsmen only had to face 21 balls between them!
