    68-2

    Compton 0 (2) c Morkel b Elgar.

Compton gets out playing the most un-Compton shot I've ever seen.

Cook has overseen two Ashes wins, an away win in India and now an away win in South Africa, can recall too many Enlgand captains doing that in the past.

    Broad took 5-1!

    Incredible performance.

And the 1 came from a dropped catch, so could have been 5-0 from 30 or fewer balls, incredible is an understatement!

Watched it all on TV. I said at the time and I still think so after the highlights the best wicket of them all was the ball from Stokes that bowled Morris.

What a perfect demonstration of skill and just technical ability. An 88mph ball that swung and then seamed in to him. Was just as class ball. What a talent that man is!

After watching the highlights - it just shows how much we have improved over past 12-18 months.
The middle order looks soooo promising (and young ) - with the likes of Root/Taylor/Stokes/Baristow and Ali being 4/5/6/7/8 for the best part of a decade based on the fact that they are all mid-twenties.
As i've mentioned before, all we need is...
    1) An opener with Cook - i'm hoping Vince will be the man to do that
    2) a No. 3 - really think Gary Ballance will come into his own and grab that spot over the next coule of years
    3) a Left-arm quick - hoping that Sam Curran will be the man(boy?) for that
    4) a leggie - and i'm confidnet that Mason Crane will be the one to do that.

Onwards and upwards for England in all formats - and looking forward to seeing how we perform in the 20/20's in SA and seeing if we can carry that forward into the World Cup - cant wait.
