Welcome back, I wish you well. You are inheriting a squad in turmoil, some of your players are not here to play for the shirt, only for the money. If we are to avoid relegation, we will need at all times 11 players on the pitch with the true Charlton spirit, busting a gut to work for the team, as a part of a united team. That might mean playing a youngster with the correct attitude rather than a trouble maker with more experience. A quick word with senior players will identify the problems, if we see the collective will on the pitch you will have the supporters behind the team at all times. We can do this despite the owner and his puppets, COYR.

    Agreed - players like Dervite and Laurie Wilson may not have been the most skilfull, but they had a good team ethic and a decent work rate.

    All we ask as fans, is that you give it your best shot - and realise that if you don't come up to standard, then we expect you to be dropped until you improve.

    As an example - Lookman - I don't care how many of his shots end up in someone's garden, He is young and wants to give it a go, so fair play to him for trying.
    On the other hand - Berg G - he is totally disinterested since Iceland qualified for the Euros. Obviously thinks he is too good for us.

    We need 8 wins to survive and at least half of those need to be in our next 6 games. players need to step up now and get on with it.
