They are his two choices imo.

I would imagine he will think this season is a write off so no point in throwing more money at it and he will be busying himself under rating League One.

Championship club with Premier League ambitions.

He clearly has another option, and that's the one he'll probably choose

The club is falling apart before his very eyes.

    Players fighting, supporters protesting.

I think we can safely say his sole purpose is to completely decimate a football club if he does nothing.

Duchatelet will just sit tight and, after selling Watt, will take a view later this month on any offers for Lookman and Gudmundsson. His thinking may be that the sums receivable will probably be lower in the summer if, as seems likely, we go down.

He'll then just slash the budget, sell any player he can and see how a young side fares in League 1.

Contrary to Richard Murray's protestations, Duchatelet does not, by any stretch of the imagination, appear to be a man in a hurry. What we need to do is to encourage him to cash in his chips - after all, what really is the point of it all ? Just after he took over two years ago, he said he wanted to make the Valley somewhere in which the community congregated, rather like church in the old days. All he's succeeded in doing is to make our club and ground a deeply unhappy place - maybe at some point, even he will see that and decide enough is enough.

In the meantime, we must maintain the pressure.

Neither, he will sit back laughing as we completely dissolve as a club... my only solace is the hope of an after life where he will be forced to do his worst nightmare on repeat for the rest of eternity...
