How much of a statement would it make if Seb announced he wasn't going to another game?

Just curious really

he's just another customerSwisdom said:Not for a second suggesting he should but if he decided "Fuck it - I'm done with this ownership" do you think that would garner more interest from the press?

Im sure it would but it makes more of a statement to other Charlton fans that he keeps going as if to say 'RD & KM, you aren't Charlton Athletic, i am, and nothing will ever change that'.30

I'd be delighted that he would be gaining a broader outlook on everything else life has to offer away from Charlton.2

none at all ... the club would not care5

They wouldn't give a money's toss0

If the press asked Meire about Seb Lewis she would claim he was a real talent at Sparrows Lane and had been singled out by Karel Fraeye and was going to be brought in to bolster our defence at Huddersfield.5

Maybe he has a perfectly fine outlook and decided himself that following Charlton round the country is what he wants to do with his time.newyorkaddick said:I'd be delighted that he would be gaining a broader outlook on everything else life has to offer away from Charlton.

It would look good to the mainstream press especially people like talksport.
As for KM and RM they wouldn't give a toss.1 -

No statement whatsoever, they'd see it as losing 1 loyal customer, nothing more.0

You would think that, but Leeds have got around 500 at such milestone, while Sheffield Wednesday have around 2,000......All_Thaid_Up said:It would look good to the mainstream press especially people like talksport.

I couldn't care less how many games he goes to, so why would anyone not connected to Charlton.3

Give him a medal or a medical , he,s either a hero or a nut job !

If he announced he was missing a game?
Not the slightest bit of difference.
In KM's eyes he is just much as a customer as everyone else.1 -
Everyone has their own way of supporting their club and voicing discord similarly. Voting with feet is wholly understable but if it is ingrained in you not to miss a game then it would probably agitate you more than the breathtaking arrogance of that wretched woman. Elsewhere I have suggested even if it's 2 minutes, be part of the two per cent. Therefore maybe people can feel they are doing their bit in their own way, but despite the dross currently being served up on the lovely pitch, it remains a social occasion, not an experience, that to many is a way of life. Therefore whichever way fans want to make a statement at the Blackburn game, encourage them to do it in their own way. But the car park, black and white, hitting in the pocket and unity is what we need for the common goals we are seeking - transparency, recognition of the fact CAFC is s way of life - more than just that in some cases - and our Charlton back. Deep breath...5
