The days we went to Charlton and enjoyed it
The times we were happy to travel for a day
When the manager managed without strings
When the players actually turned up to play.
WE WANT OUR CHARLTON BACK!

Kids waving red and white scarves and cheering
The big flag carried over the covered end
"Valley Floyd Road" heard loud and far
Being proud to bring along your boy or girlfriend.
WE WANT OUR CHARLTON BACK!

All those happy premiership moments and years,
Those times of division one and league one glories
Clive Mendonca and Kevin Lisbie hat tricks.
Telling our children all of our Play-Off Stories.
WE WANT OUR CHARLTON BACK!

When we had a board room and chairman
That worked hard and we knew actually cared.
When we had trust for our club no matter what.
When all vital plans and information was shared.
WE WANT OUR CHARLTON BACK!

There were hard times when we were exiled,
But we the addicks fought, came together as one.
The heart and passion, drive and determination
At Charlton Athletic was second to none.

The Valley Party, The veterans, the legends.
For all the moments we shared with our dad,
For Floyd and Harvey instead of sofas and DJs

    I can't remember the half time songs too much other activity to fry the brain that day. Besides drinking was heavy that day :tongue:
