Absolutely gutted. Was only a few hours ago I was working out to a Motörhead album in my garage.

RIP. The metal fanbase owes so much to this man

    RIP

The recent documentary on him proved the legend tag. However he lived a life didn't he?

Got taken to Spearmint Rhinos for a work jolly, with two free dance tokens as part of the evening. Halfway through the second, I noticed Lemmy sitting opposite me. It's the one and only time I've tasted real-life rock and or roll.

An iconic original Rock n Roll star, very sad news.
I accidentally head butted him at a Hawkwind Gig in 1980, he was very cool about it.
    RIP Lem.

Legend R.I.P. It isn't how long you live, but what you cram into your time. I think he can be satisfied with his innings on that score.

  • R.I.P. indeed.

However, I'm sure he wouldn't moan.

    Cheers for the music Lemmy!

Real shame. Rest in peace Lemmy
  • Absolutely gutted! Despite my penchant for rockabilly, my all time favourite record is "Ace of Spades" - the ultimate rock n roll record as far as I am concerned. One of the biggest ever stars of rock has had his final encore. I think he would prefer "Rest in Noise" to "Rest in Peace". So, RIN Mr Kilmister, RIN...
