Video Clip Help

edited April 2008 in Troubleshooting
I've got a video clip of one of our very own making a show of himself in Blackpool, but when I forward it onto my laptop from my mobile the clip is sideways. Anyone know how to, or have a package that can rotate it and then save it the right way round? Tried every application on my Mac and Phone with no joy.

  • If you have Quicktime Pro you can do it. If not, try TransformMovie
  • Or BitPlayer, which is freeware

beg to differ there stu - hate the knobs that idolise a corporation but the machines give me so much less grief than windows/pc combinations have done in the past.
  • Cheers Lookout that worked, but whenever I try to post it on here I get this message:

    "Some problems were encountered
The requested discussion could not be found."

    What am I doing wrong?
The file is 1.4mb in size - is that too big?
  • Yep, that's too big for an attachment. Plus it may rally kill our bandwidth if it was posted directly to the server. What you'd have to do is post it to YouTube or similar (Vimeo for eg) and then embed or link it here.
