Cotterell on the FL highlights looked and sounded totally cheesed off during his post match interview .. seems the owner has not given him the money that Cotterell thinks he needs for new players .. even so, B C has a decent team and should not be in relegation trouble0

I beg to differ. This team is turd compared to most of the rest of the championship. Cotterill shouldn't sulk because he isnt being given £30m or so to get above their station. They are already punching above their weight. We have. Bauer, Sarr, Makienok, Kashi etc didn't come cheap. Wouldn't like us to blow £6m on Gayle on top of all that really, it's no guarantee of promotion. Look at Bristol, they'll be paying that just to try to surviveMendonca In Asdas said:

Gayle is a superb finisher. Surprised Palace are selling him to be honest. Should be very good in the championship. He can do better than Bristol City though2

appears Gayle has said no. also, if you wondered how City could afford the fee, they were prepared to waive the sell-on fee they would be due if Bolasie moved on from Palace.1

Get the feeling that's been a problem for City all window. They're going for big players on big money who don't seem interested in joining them. Add to that a not particularly great stadium or history they're probably better served scouring the lower leagues than trying to tempt Premier League fringe players down to them6
