    Lita starts, no Thomas, who doesn't make not the bench, Cook seems to be in the stands for this match too and the usual attacking options in reserve.

    Sams come into the team from being what appeared to be about fifth choice. I can only assume Thomas is "ill" again.

    So basically, Sam comes in for Thomas.

    And Lita replaces Iwelumo.

    Otherwise unchanged. Keeping the nucleus of the side together.



    Thought Pards said the team were looking a little tired on Tuesday.
    Expected ZZ to be rested - but perhaps he's since had a good night's sleep.

    Thomas couldn't have been tired, surely?

    Probably tired and emotional - he's been in and out the side so often that it's clear that he and Pardew don't see eye-to-eye, I wouldn't be surprised if he is transferred in the summer.
