I can see Phil Parkinson replacing Clough.

I'd like to see him get a mid table Championship club. (And I don't mean us!).

Parkinson is apparently favourite to take over there... I'd stay where he is to be honest... He's almost got Bradford into the Playoffs twice in League One and I reckon he could do it after rebuilding his career.

At Sheffield United he's going back into a club where the fans have big club mentality so wont give him a chance if he slips up

Powell has a great recent record at that ground.

    He should have waited.

What other club has Parky been at where they have a big club mentality and won't give him a chance if he slips up?

    Do you mean us?

Parky was at Hull when Sheff U's MD was there, so there is a link. Not sure he excelled himself there, but I think he's come on in the last couple of years and could do a good job for the Blades.

They might as well go for Jose Mourinho for all the sense that would make!

Would seem an odd one. Our Karl has been talking himself up big time for several years and would be strange for him to step back down, just as he's won promotion.

"I can't believe that a great manager like Karl Robinson would even consider dropping down to Sheffield United"

Colleague who supports them said his problem was his negativity - didn't go out to win games - rather not get beat.
