Sign him up to a longer deal please Roland.

Cousins is essential to get signed up.

Jordan seems like the kind of guy who would happily sign a new deal, even if the only outcome was the Charlton would get full value.

Need to tie down Jordan and, please, JBG. Of the others not too fussed. Can't see Bikey playing much although ok as a squad member I suppose.

Only Cousins and JBG important to sort out IMO.

If Bikey is happy to be a squad player then I don't want him, if he is not good enough to be a starter (Which with the Luzon way he is not) then i think he should go.

JBG is out of our hands, if a Prem club wants him enough we won't be able to compete. Be interested to know what others feel his value is .. in this modern age of Prem clubs awash with money I really cant judge. £5 m, £10 m ...... what is reasonable?

With regard Bikey I agree entirely Kap. But he has another year and unless we agree a pay off then he's here to stay. Plus he may not be happy with being a squad member and want to fight for a place but not a lot he can do if Luzon doesn't select him.

20 outfield players of whom 3 are Nego, Reza and Polish Pete so in effect 17.

A lot of work to be done but don't doubt it is already under way.

    Interesting summer.

As you know, KM mentioned at Bromley that they had talked to Spurs about a player and I know she was talking people on the walk about activity, so definitely the work has started, but so much depends on others .... players, agents and other clubs ..., before deals can be taken over the line.

He wasn't horrendous but deeply uninspiring. Passed the ball forwards less that Keith Jones and Matt Holland !

Indeed! If any of Ben Haim, Buyens and Bulot can be convinced to stay then that adds to a decent platform from which to build our 2015-16 efforts.

He will be a good player.

Milos is 19 and got injured on his 2nd game for us.

He was doing what he was told by the coach.

The problem for Cafc all season has been the only Midfielder with any pace is Jordan cousins.

So when we lose the ball is takes so bloody long to get it back again.

Milos is like a young Diarra, good but not blessed with pace. we now need some pace us we are the slowest team in the League judging from the 33 league games i got to this season.

In all due respect I'm sure we can attract players better than Milos

Maybe it could be a Milos/Gomez combo.
  • Agree with the comment about pace above, it was very evident against Bournemouth.
  • Never mind, whether Gomez stays or goes, next season is going to hinge on whether the replacements this summer are as good as, better than or worse than the ones who may well be departing.

Veljokovic was OK, and his passing was steady but how many defensive midfielders do we actually need ? Can he play at centre back ?

Squad is looking thin, but I guess it is the end of the season. It will be interesting to see what happens. Thanks to @Scoham for putting the thread up.

A massive thanks to @lancashire lad

Comphered to my 90 mins per week doing the predictions league is not even close to the jibba jabba he has to go through before he marks your scores.

Bear it mind people. This is a great site bar the football. Charlton people have found employment, hope and new friends through this medium.
