When Curbs arrives with Fulham on Tuesday he will be the 3rd former Charlton manager to be in the opposition dug-out this season after Chris Powell and Lennie Lawrence. If Riga had survived another 6 weeks at Blackpool it would have been 4. I'm struggling to remember 2 returning in a single season before - can anyone remember this happening before? I have no specific memory of the likes of Mike Bailey or Alan Mullery returning at all, although it probably happened
