Does anyone else follow this:

Uruguay been champions since last October
won again this morning
so if they remain unbeaten in there last friendly and first group game we have a chance of being champions for the first time since June 2000

    New Unofficial World Champions: Costa Rica(For the first time since 4th September 1963)
    for us to hold it now Costa Rica have to at least draw to Italy, then we beat them

    Do only 90 minutes count?

    If Costa Rica win/draw tonight and go into the knockout stages then whoever wins the world cup will be the Unofficial champions too. Unless in the knockout games it only counts in 90 minutes.

    Extra time and penalty shootouts used to decide the outcome of an individual match count. For two-legged ties, individual match results count, not aggregate results. Extra time and penalty shoutouts used to decide the result of two-legged ties do not count.

    sounds like it would be the result of extra time or pens

    The current Champions Brazil face a tricky game tonight at The Stade The France in Paris(a game that is live on ITV 4)

    France have not held this since the lost a friendly against Spain on 28/3/01

    Brazil since beating Argentina have had 3 successfully defended it 3 times
    4-0 V Japan
    4-0 V Turkey
    2-1 V Austria

    Brazil win 3-1 and are still Champions

    next game for them is this Sunday V Chile in London

    Brazil lost to Colombia on Wednesday to hand Colombia the title

    Since then Colombia drew 0-0 with Peru so still hold the title



    Colombia next face Argentina (Argentina last held the title 11th October 2014)
