Holloway is coming across exactly the same as in his final days with Palace, a beaten man, with no idea how to turn things around. His post match comments are of a man resigned to failure.
Palace sadly replaced him with plenty of the season remaining for Pulis to do his stuff.
By contrast Millwall have shown admirable loyalty to him, letting him bring 8 new players in, in January alone, which has made no difference, and it may be too late now, with the deficit they have to make up.

    :-)

It's things like going back for that Stefan Maihofer. They had him on loan at the back end of last season. If he was any good surely they would've made the deal permanent in the summer. Yet they wait until Jan this season to take him back on loan.

PS - the Obika thing was completely different
They did try to get him in the summer but he didn't want to sign, thought he could get a deal at Fulham instead and that didn't happen.

Alright, alright News Shopper. Jumping to the defence of Millwall
Just pointing out what happened. That is all.
Facts have got nothing to do with it on here. And this is the first time I've seen you post anything other than a link to an article.

    Holloway has lost the plot?
I didnt even know he had an allotment.

He'll be spending the rest of the year on it growing some prize vegetables.

I comment occasionally but accept people on a forum don't necessarily want to hear a reporter's opinion, hence why it is usually links.
  • I think Ollie's position might be untenable if they lose on Saturday at home to Norwich. I think fan power might see him removed. Would give a new man (Harris ? ) ten games to turn it around. Not easy but possible.

Are you a closet spanner ??!!
No. I want them relegated this season and next.

Millwall always find a way to get themselves out of trouble, we've seen it time and time again, I still wouldn't write them off just yet.

I've convinced myself that the only way for them too get relegated is for me to keep saying they won't be relegated if that makes sense.

Very much so, in fact there are certain posters on the 'match preview and predictions thread' who regularly predict a loss for us (no names but you know who you are) applying the same type of logic. Mind you they were right more often than not in the recent winless run.

You'd have to go some to have an opinion on here no one wants to hear. All opinions welcome, it's what makes this site so good.

I expect to hear more from you now we've unmasked that you aren't just a faceless local news reporter

I thought the issue was that Millwall couldn't afford to pay him off. He's given up on them in the same way as they've given up him so, if that is the case, it might be a false economy.

If we make the playoffs this year I will butter my bare arse and change my name to Mary by deed poll.

If we can win most of our games to the end of the season,
could it be Schadenfrude for you Mary Jones, as you slide off into the sun set.

I personally can not wait to here the Jeremy Kyle chant for the millionth time. It will still be relevant, and amusing.

I also don't find it at all cringey when the only noise the north stand makes in an entire game, even when winning, is "lets all laugh at millwall"

Shows what a big team we are!

Must be the acoustics to be fair!

    2nd bottom, reckon thats it.
Though a 5-0 win should see us hammering the last nail in on good friday. ;-)

I see that we are at forties with most of the bookies and with most of them are the highest placed team to get odds. One or two good wins should sort that out and put us in the clear.

    The relegation dance.

Not sure how true it is but a few Millwall fans I know (sorry), reckon Holloway is the highest paid manager in The Championship and it would cost them a £1m to sack him, which they can't afford.
