  • Better than our current regime have been treating him, no wonder when he comes on he looks unconfident. Disgraceful behaviour to a player that always gave his all to us, whether we thought he was good enough or not - which he definitely was moulding to be.
  • Ok and a Chris Powell type player.

Normally a good steady eddy but has gone backward this year after a very good season last year. I think if he plays under a a manger who likes him you will see better performance from him.

Salt of the earth. Will be perfect.
  • A bit of a confidence player as AA says, but CP can certainly get the best out of him - a good, solid Championship player in that case, and a really nice guy too. The way a decent, honest pro like LW has been treated epitomises the worst of our current ownership regime.
  • Well, he's English and was signed by Powell. Which means Duchatelet will look to sell him. We're not allowed characters here anymore. Weird signing for Huddersfield though. Doesn't' Scannell play on the right? Who's your right back?

This, not the most talented but a 100% trier, Powell likes him for a good reason .. he'd give your side a bit of backbone and bite .. I don't want to see him leave CAFC though

Great last season, pretty dire this season
  • Sorry but I think he's a League One player. Nice guy and a trier but I don't think he's championship quality.

Under Chris Powell - an average player, but what he lacks in technique he makes up for in effort.

Not been too impressed when I've seen him this season, although he's not alone in that by any means.

Or more likely, just give him away, as with Morro. His contract is up at the end of the season. So much for increasing players' value...
  • The type of player that needs a consistent run of games in the team. Not good enough defensively to play at right back but a good effective right-sided midfielder who is capable of popping up with the goal or two. Probably should have had more games this season. Powell gets the best out of him.
  • He was runner-up in the fans' vote for Player of the Season last year.

On the rare occasion Powell managed to get him in at right midfield he was excellent for us, gave us a decent attacking threat with some defensive discipline in there as well. Has the pace to do both comfortably. Unfortunately in Powell's last season more often than not he was at right back, where he was very good - replacing our best player in Chris Solly - and probably should have won player of the year. I think I'm right in saying he won players' player of the year. His confidence is completely shot this season though and he's better off being somewhere where he might be appreciated.

Can play right back, right midfield, central midfield and in the hole. Got a few goals in him given the chance.

Good squad man and utility player.

Good engine and got a bit of heart about him will do a good job especially under Chris Powell who will treat him right.

I don't want to lose him myself but the way he has been treated under this shower is shameful. Last season he nearly won our player of the year.

Good signing for you if you get him and another nail in our coffin.

Been a load of bollocks recently, can't pass, tackle, mark a man, cross or shoot, and rarely runs enough to be a threat going forwards or to close men down on his flank. Probably a loss of confidence has contributed to this but he hasn't warranted a place in the squad save for not having anyone else. I am sure he'd pick back up again under Powell though

Really? Not seen any evidence of that. Decent squad cover for right back/right midfield at this level

Played central midfield and in the hole for Stevenage at The Valley and tore us apart in a 1-0 defeat in our title-wining season. Hence why Powell probably decided to monitor him a bit more and eventually sign him.

Good player. One of those wingers who looks like he has been out on the lash with his Sunday league side the night before, but remarkably has incredible fitness and never stops running.

The sort of player who sums up the 'old' Charlton. Full of heart.

Beat me to it, was decent playing off the striker for Stevenage

His game is all about confidence. When he's got a good man manager and a run of games behind him, he will be one of the most effective performers in your team. If he gets treated like sh*t, he'll look non-league.

I certainly know which Lawrie you'll get under Powell. Good luck with him.

If he goes on loan he will not be allowed to play against us on the 28th
