  • I am a happily married man, but now I know that it would be rude not to look

  • s your out there NLA cant you go and pay Roly a visit and tell him the error of his ways.
  • Been speaking to some SL fans here and it's true to say he is a divider of opinions, and a character who don't seem to care what or who gets pissed off with him, was hoping to understand more about his ways, but it's typical football fan anger although 2 of the fans blame the players for their fuck up last season
  • I bought a hot dog sausage at St Truiden and it didn't come with a roll. But it was quite tasty, as were the chips. Would have been lovely with some onions and a roll though!

Never go to Belgium with Addickted.

Red light district in An twerp and in St truden he booked us a hotel on the strip.
  • I remember singing his name at Reading thinking he was brilliant etc.

Think there are some snakes at the valley and player power these days is out of control. Unless the manager strokes your ego 24/7...your going to complain!

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and he could not manage his players to the acceptable, appropriate or modern day standards.

    RD or Luzon?
  • RD it's fair to say Luzon is not a popular man and is seen as a bit of a joke amongst other fans not just SL

I was thinking the same thing. Funny how it was expected to go through in 4 days and (according to Jackanory Jill, we just missed out for Saturday), yet another 2 days later (not including the w'end) and no word.

The bullshit is festering, me thinks.......

I have worked for a Belgian company for 15 years - nothing about what is happening at Charlton surprises me!

I think it depends on the individual attitude of the player. Hamer, Morrison, Dervite and Poyet were all out of contract at the end of last season and you couldn't fault their effort.
But they weren't guaranteed new clubs, Poyet only started playing for us mid season so was trying to prove himself to us let alone another club.

Hamer wasn't even considered that great when he was playing for us, no one was 100% convinced. The rest of the team may have been able to find another club but ultimately knew their career depended potentiallyon charltons performance.
  • Will pm you Jean
  • Been to Belgium once. Was early 20's. Went to Brussels and went to the pub where me and my mate got chatting to an elderly gent. He was interested to hear we were from England and seemed very appreciative of all English from WWII. Insisted on buying us beer all evening. Great country!
