Is it Harlow in the cup many many years ago?1
-
Reckon it is indeed; I woz there: FA Cup 1st round, November 1980, won 2-0 (Hales, Robinson). We were in the Third Division and battled through to the 5th round, when we lost 2-0 at Ipswich, who were top of the First.iaitch said:Is it Harlow in the cup many many years ago?

Yes agreed, Killer at Harlow in 80/81. Remember those steep grass banks like it was only yesterday. First away match I drove to with a bunch of mates after getting my licence. Scary stuff for all concerned, then repeated for Fulham and Ipswich in a rare cup run!iaitch said:Is it Harlow in the cup many many years ago?

Definitely Harlow. I got bitten by a police Alsatian :-(0

I miss Kins so much. That boy kind of spoiled midfielders for me. I can only assume people who have since described the likes of Dale Stephens and Yoni Buyens as class never saw Kins at his peak. That boy had the lot.Paddy Powell said:
Yes. Not a bad strike with his 'standing' leg..hawksmoor said:What a screamer of a goal against Norwich. Kinsella, you say?
2/11/96 - Norwich City 1-2 Charlton (Allen 64, Kinsella 82)

Harlow game was on MOTD, and Killer admitted it was a cross...0

There was quite a bit of aggro on the terraces. The next day the Observer ran a photo on the front page of a young man being carried over the running track by four coppers - one in each corner - and in the background on the terrace I am clearly discernible in my silver-coloured bomber jacket. That's the only time I've made the front page!Covered End said:Definitely Harlow. I got bitten by a police Alsatian :-(

Most definitely Harlow away in the FA cup and that is the goal I referred to the other day in the 'Our Shooting' thread that Killer later claimed he meant rather than a cross which just happened to drift in. :-00

Never mind Mark Robson, that was an assist from Mike Small!

I was going by the commentary, but after a close look it was Leaburn - no one else has legs that long.
Anyway, Mike Small assisting......what was I thinking:-)0 -
Mark Robson it is then I guess, cheers lads.0

No need to guess @plentyofshots definitely Robson he was with us from 93 to 97 and I can confirm from the away programme for Stoke in the 93/94 season (the clip you have is v Bolton) that he wore the squad number 27 shirt.plentyofshots said:Mark Robson it is then I guess, cheers lads.
Edit; just found a home programme towards the end of that season, we lost 2-3 away at Bolton's old ground at Burnden Park on 5/3/94, scorers for the Addicks were Robson and a certain Mr Pardew. I've got the crowd if you want it

1994. A week before the quarter final at Old Trafford. Was at both games and definitely a vast difference in the away turnout!RedChaser said:
