Realising that life's to short.

This week has put things into perspective for me. I lost my baby boy on Friday and words cannot describe the feeling, it makes you realise what is important in life. My partner and I came out to Turkey on holiday last Wednesday and she was 25 weeks pregnant. Last Friday we ended up in a hospital a while away from the hotel and she ended up in premature labor. Being in Turkey I wasn't allowed in the room with her and had to wait outside after being told that the baby was to small to survive and my partner was at a high risk of dying as she had an infection covering 90% of her body causing the early birth. I was obviously in bits and our baby george was born. He wasn't breathing at first but they revived him although they said he shouldnt live longer than ten minutes. I had to leave with him to a specialist hospital and leave my partner alone to give him a chance of survival. After I arrived at the hospital he was breathing on his own to the doctors astonishment but lasted 7 hours before passing away. He wasn't preducing enough oxygen in his lungs to circulate the body. He made his mark on the world in the short time he was here by coming early to save his mums life as the doctors said. He's our hero and fought so hard to stay with us. It's been the worst and hardest time of my life especially havig to sort it all out in a foreign country. We have managed to get him home tonight and we fly back saturday to sort funeral. The pain of this is undescribable and if anyone has gone through similar would be nice to know how they got through it.
Thanks,
Jake
