Was just concentrating on the players still young and making their way in the game plus those (like Wilson/Solly) still with us, otherwise Parker, Konchesky, Defoe, R Elliot and Randolph all could be in the equation.
Also, for my shame managed to forget Cousins and Harriot so how about

Not a bad side although it does highlight that we produce ayers in most positions but very few strikers...0

Certainly been a derth of strikers over the years, I wonder why that is? Harder to come by/nicked at a young age by other clubs/coaching?0

Think when you look at the majority of clubs in England very few young players who come through are Strikers especially when you look at the few who have received England caps whilst at their parent clubs0

I've added myself to that bench. we didn't release him, slater and jiminez could only afford to give him a 6 month contract which semi rightly told them to do one and looked for better elsewhere. Totally at odds with Poyet before anyone asks, who was offered long term deals at ~£15,000 a week under RD.Kipper23 said:

Not sure it was Slater and Jiminez not being able to afford him, more Powell and the coaching staff not being convinced by him. We had signed Feely about 6 months earlier and later in the year Lennon signed a long term deal.kentaddick said:
