Rob Lee and Paul Walsh always seem to have tried to hide their Charlton development, as if one day they arrived on the playing fields of Newcastle and Liverpool without ever having been developed by us. and of course, Judas was a West Ham youth product!!Bedsaddick said:

With Lee it's not even just development , he played nearly 300 matches for us and scored more than he did for them . I did have him on my twitter but took him off as he never ever mentioned us at all.

He does seem to gloss over his Charlton period somewhat, I guess Newcastle is what most people remember him for.
Looking at the records, Chris Powell played as many games for Southend as he did for us, but to most people he was a former Charlton (and perhaps Derby) player.0 -
