Loving this guy.

Early days and all that, but has the potential to be a real favourite IMO. have we signed a better player we've had on trial before?

Absolute unit.

Love the guy. Every performance reminds me of Shittu's total dominance of Haynes a couple of seasons ago.
  • My football playing days are long gone. I was no coward when it came to tackling opponents, but the thought of being crunched by him is scary.

He looks as though he should be slow and clumsy, but his touch is good and his passing well above the standard of most defenders. He seems to glide through tackles and come away with the ball.

Yep, the potential to be a real favourite.

Loved it when he tried that overhead effort and then spent a couple of minutes sorting out Deeney(and any other Watford players who wanted to get involved) after Deeney thought he would have a cynical dig at Ben Haim.

I really like both our new CB's they have a character about them as a pairing, combined with their obvious class makes it good times for us Charlton fans.

Think that can work against us. Deeney loves to get fired up and I think it helps him. Didn't like the fact he pretty much ignored JJ when he came over to tell him to shut up and remember we have got a game to win.
  • He's Costa with movement...

He's been fantastic. Reminds me of Sam Sodje in the way that he will win every header (as well as knock the ball half way up the pitch in the process).

Very good footballer with the ball at his feet too which has surprised me.
  • That would be some 50/50... Bikey v Costa

For me AB wins the headers and JC the tackles in that battle

Was that the one he lost the ball (or someone did) and he chased behind someone for a good 20+yards then slid in to knick the ball? Imagine having him chasing you down, you'd run a notch faster than usual that's for sure..

Every time he touched the ball the support was yelling something, don't know what it was, but my goodness he has presence. How come we have him...is it about pace or something, because he looks as if no opponent wants to know when he's around?
Scares the bejaysus out of me and he's our blimmin player fergawdssakes!

Until he put the CAFC shirt on,i did not rate him, but was that because those games were in the premiership ?
    The same for TBH.
In the championship they really stand out, thou having watched every match, bar udders they will both do at least one miss kick per match but most of the time so far we are getting away with it.

what about the overhead bikey kick
Rename the East stand if that had gone in.

Already given me two classic moments this season. Him and Henderson has a misunderstanding against Colchester, Henderson went to bollock him and got the Bikey stare - immediately backed down.

Same game, he clattered Sears who jumped up looking to have a word. Bikey puffs out his chest and stares at him. Sears visibly shit himself.

If the overhead had gone in yesterday it would have been up there in my list of great Valley moments.
  • Was seriously underwhelmed by the signing of Bikey and Ben Haim but they have both proved me wrong. Bikey is certainly a unit but he doesn't lack skill.

If he was this good before joining us, I am surprised that we managed to sign him. Or, has being here rejuvenated him ? All I can say is he is everywhere, our best defensive signing for some time. The Beast ! If he keeps this up, he will be pivotal in our chances of being in the top 6.

Besides his beastliness he has a lot of composure on the ball and his distribution is good to.

Reminded me of one of Richard Rufus' tackles toward the end of his career.
  • Already my favourite player this season so far. Me and the kids met him at the valley on family day and he was absolutely great with them. Top marks
  • Will turn out to be a fan hero i,m sure. About time we had a player like this. Also TBH is turning out to be a class player as well. Was totally under whelmed by his signing but boy was I wrong!

Surprising turn of pace when chasing back and getting in a recovery tackle during the 2nd half yesterday. I was sure he was going to foul the guy and get a yellow card, but he timed his challenge very well, at pace too. Loving him. Can't believe he was a free agent with so much experience.

Have to admit, when he first came in on trial looking unfit and a bit tubby I was worried he'd signed up for a pay day. I was wrong, and glad of it! It's nice to have a big lump defender who can actually pass the ball accurately - with due respect to Morrison, his distribution is not his finest quality and it makes a difference in the whole team.

Agree he has been great since signing. Best player we have signed who we had on trial first would be Kinsella. Hope Bikey has just as good time with us as Kinsella did.
