A striker is definitely needed, and possibly a central midfielder. Owen Garvan wasn't included in Palace's 25-man squad, and would be a great signing.4

Not so much a prediction but I believe that any incoming players will be needed for the first team and wanted by big bad beastly bob, which I am happy with.
I think sometimes clubs go into the transfer window looking for who is available when in my opinion you should enter knowing what you need and be happy to settle for what you have if what needed isnt available1 -

I see the best striker in the championship two years ago has just gone to Reading on loan with a possible move at the end, Glenn Murray. (the only reason we lost that game 2-1 was him)
Too many reason why we would not get him:
wages,palace,age,injury(not the same player two years on ?)
Is it possible to get a striker from lower leagues who could play along side Igor and step up to the demands of the championship, if they don't, it's a loan. They go back to their club. we need to take a punt as george is still learning and needs time. Ditto Joe Pigott who is only 20 but needs to step up soon if he's going to make it.
Loans are not ideal but we have no choice now.0 -
