    About as much chance of that happening as us signing Bahrback. Why would Baldock go there? If he were available he'd have far better choices, I mean Brighton were warned off the other week. Also can't see Blackpool paying any sort of fee for anyone let alone a million plus for Baldock.

    Blackpool to announce the signings of free agents Andrea Orlandi and Ishmael Miller on one year contracts and will follow that up with the signings of Sam Baldock and Andy Lonergan for a combined fee for a million pounds and the loan signings of Joe Ralls, Ben Amos and Jack Robinson

    What is the fascination with Baldock on here? I've never understood it. I know he was seriously linked with us a couple or three years ago but it didn't happen. Always looked distinctly average anytime I've seen him (that's not to say that our recent strikers have been up to much) and I've never understood why we continue to be so interested in his movements.

    He was joint top scorer with Assombolonga in League 1 last season.
    PS I'd be very surprised if he signed for Blackpool.
