Apparently FIFA pay clubs $2,800 (US dollars I presume) for every day a player is away from the club on World Cup duty.
Obv. Reza is on the payroll, so we're spending on him whilst he's over there, but we must surely have made a net profit on his time away

Note to myself:
April 2018; take over Eltham Town
May 2018; sign up squad (aka number fillers) players from the Asian, African and Concaf qualifying sides.
June/July 2018; Sit back and rake in the money
Mid July 2018: Sell players
August 2018; Sell Eltham Town
April 2022...

My rough estimate is £45,000.0

Be interesting to see where the other $4.1Billion goes to. Sepp has to fund his next re-election campaign, which will surely cost more than the amount Germany got for winning...0
