I'd assume that the compensation, if agreed between the clubs and not by tribunal, will be "undisclosed" - or "none of your business" as it is more accurately put.

Exactly what I was thinking Rick.

It will be the subject of pure specualtion and rumour much like the Jenkinson fee.

  • When I put Battle for The Valley back together I was reminded of the internal issue raised when Chris Parkes gave me the Gordon Watson fee breakdown for the Mercury in 1991 - despite the fact that it was being published in Sheffield and Gordon himself was open about it, while Lennie was talking off the record about his own disquiet at the deal and was my major source on the story. Never liked undisclosed fees, but they are often presented in misleading ways when they are disclosed, I.e. "deal worth" or "up to".
  • Who are the two with Diego Poyet in that Wet Spam photo?

Think Powell said the Jenkinson money was £1m+.

And a 72 page thread on the subject will inevitably follow......

could be photo-shopped. Still no news on BBC or W Ham's own website about any signing.

It is on Poyets own twitter account so doubt it is a fake!
  • Of course its not fake, hes an Iron now as he said himself. I personally think we will do ok out of the situation and have a better team.

It will to be announced tomorrow I think. Four year deal with the option of another I saw somewhere.

is that the 2010's version of The Suns having a back page of Paul Ince wearing a Man U shirt whilst still a W. Ham player.

I'm not saying its not true, just not seen it officially mentioned anywhere - remember what Henry says.........

Joining West Ham? He's barely moved up. I won't lie I'm upset about this, initially I was tentatively supportive, thinking he was going to a much bigger stage, but West Ham? Shows how little he thought of Charlton. Shame on him.
