That's interesting. I wasn't aware of that. Good that Phil Chapple is in the loop.LoneRanger88 said:
I think there was a meeting of all the network scouts to discuss players recently, Phil Chapple was our representative.ShootersHillGuru said:
Is he still there even ?LoneRanger88 said:Isn't Prothero the one who is handling player contracts and transfers?
Tbh and I didn't make it very clear I was mainly thinking about player identification.

He left the board the day after the takeover along with Jiminez. Slater left the board at the end of January presumably after handover and completion of the deal.
Prothero was at the club in February - no idea if he is still there.0 -
When are we going to get a new manager/ head coach first off. Need one of those before you start building a team.0
-
Not if the owner wants the club shaped as he wants it, you don't ;-)0

In the UK model yes, in the continental model, no.msomerton said:When are we going to get a new manager/ head coach first off. Need one of those before you start building a team.
Prothero has still been around but was said to be leaving once the season was over. I suspect he won't be the only one.

Maybe, Roland is waiting to see where Liege finish to see how much money he has in his football network ? (Season ends next week end).0

Prothero definitely dealt with the YK negotiations.0

I'm in a constant state of anxiety about Charlton, aren't we all?
Have we even released our released list yet (Andy Hughes apart)?1 -
Is Keith Peacock still involved as "Football Adviser" or whatever he was called?
He was on the pitch after the Watford game so maybe he is advising Katrien.1 -

Ok. Panic has officially started.
But it's not because of no activity. It's because of outward activity :-)
Golfie, MrLargo panic, panic, panic.1 -
Miss out the panic stage and go straight to the razor blades.
Saves a whole close season of false hopes and failed relationships.2 -
No need to panic as the new regime has it all under control.
You will recall that all dialogue with fans was halted in February as senior club staff were all too busy with the er......the closed transfer window, but anyway that time has been put to good use and already we have:
Another pre-season friendly with Pompey
Lost 3 players without replacements
Scheduled a kick about in the owners back garden for July
Hectic stuff in SE7 I can tell you, and absolutely no need to panic.2 -
No need to panic, last summer we only had one striker up until a few days before the Bournemouth game. Then we signed Sordell and Church...5
