just thinking back to the team that won up there in the Cup - Harriott & Church played that night (although I think we played 4-5-1 with AA in the middle too). same result ??

Jesus Christ that's not good. Both Solly and Wilson available and we throw Harriott back in. Well, you never know, Callum's got a goal in him so this might turn out perfectly. It would be a surprise though.

    Well, good to see Solly
there, but puzzled Wilson doesn't start. It doesn't sound from his interview that his mask bothers him, so it must be tactical.

Played without the mask on Friday

The received wisdom is that RD has agreed a price to buy Charlton Athletic, but it will be £4million less if Charlton are relegated.
I have no proof of that myself.

    Whats this £4m business?

a load of old bollox, the owners "save" 4 million if we go down under the terms of the takeover. They lose loads more than that if we go down.

Was hopeful of a point, not after seeing that team. Hopefully Llera will play for the Massives to give Sordell or Church a chance or two. Charlton 0 - Massives 3 is my bet, £10 @ 22/1.

    Llera playing

Of course with people choosing to ignore that relegation itself would cost us that £4m and then some.

His last real good performance was in the Wednesday cup game...fingers crossed...

Not the team I would have selected, but still have a feeling we won't lose. Whether we can score to win is another story.

    Come on lads

For the first time I now fear that we will go down.

Can I get a refund on my season ticket?!

this is alan pardew levels of selection. I wouldn't be surprised last game of the season riga comes out and says "now i need to start playing my best team" for the blackpool decider

Suspect it has more to do with Solly fitness and not being able to play twice a week yet. That said, no reason not to play Wilson right mid when Solly can play or use bloody Nego for that matter.

    Weird team again today.

It has taken a worrying swing in that direction for sure.

From the Bournemouth v Sheffield highlights they had joy down their right hand side so for Morgan Fox this may be a big test.

  • I can only assume that today's team selection is heavily influenced by individual fitness issues.

at least it's an attacking line-up .. but w t f is Riga doing leaving out Wilson .. unless he is slightly injured and not fit for 90 minutes

Well let's hope Harriot puts a performance in for everybody's sakes. We know he has it in him.

If CP were to have chosen this team I would have stared and shaken my head in disbelief ... so this is me staring and shaking my head in disbelief - WTF!!!!!
  • Am i the only one that likes this line up?!

That is as long as it's a 4-3-2-1 with Harriott on the left and Sordell (or Church) on the right of the main (!) striker.

...trying to demoralise the opposition by implying that we only need to play our reserves?

It really is the stuff conspiracies are made of.

FFS play Wilson in front of Solly and when Solly's subbed just drop him pack into R/B.

Now watch Harriot open the scoring!

it's a real shame that AA hasn't had the fitness to be starting every game
