    Whenever I used to say to my mates during a game that he's one of the most ungainly players I've ever seen, he'd invariably score a rocket of a free kick. Then I'd be up cheering after coating him off for half an hour. I'm so fickle.

    pwopa example of wasting talent through lack of application.

    we used to call him the charlton Zidane, the way he ambled through games (he ob. hammer of a shot on him, absolutley nothing doing otherwise. just never seemed to put himself about.

    Just watched him play for Muangthong United. Same old Bothroyd, not dominating the game and ambling through it. Didn't look like a player who has played at the top level.

    We beat Newcastle 3-1 (Scott Parker for them), also Lee Bowyer og.
    Enjoyed game from NW Upper. Great run by Rommedahl late on.
