I detect the usual vibes of negativity starting to come through, so what it's 90 minutes 11v 11 a dream appearance at Wembley awaits the players who may never get this chance again. Do we think they will just roll over? Not many gave us a hope in hell at Udders or Wendies, get a grip ffs enough bigging up the oppo COYRs

  • Yeah but theyre playing League One sides whilst were playing sides with budgets trying to get into the Premier League at the moment

No disrespect to Sheff Utd but you cant compare the two...

We had a great result last night, rested 6/7 key players, kept the momentum going.

I think we're in for a cracking, proper, cup game on Sunday. Has all the ingredients.

6 or 7 of our players have been resting all season.......they'll be up for the cup though. May the best team on the day win.

Yeah, think some of ours thought the season started at Christmas.
  • As mentioned, Wednesday had good form going into the last game.

The game on Sunday is 50/50 in my view. The point being would Charlton beat Peterborough, probably. Would Sheff U beat Leicester, probably not. Both Charlton and Sheff U are very similar in standard.

Not interested in form too much. Yes, they are smashing all teams they come up against, but Charlton will be up for this more than any of those sides they have beat.

Be positive, this is going to be our day!

I too would make United marginal favourites for this, with their form and home advantage

Looks like the crowd will be 30,000 plus as well so a cracking atmosphere, their fan on here said 29,000 sold so far as of last night.
  • Tudgay must play some part if he's not cup tied, he reminds me of Mendonca.
    Start with him and Church.
Tudgay knows what it's like to score against Sheffield Utd in a big game and Church likes scoring in the FA cup

Christ on a bike. Forgot about the Tudgay factor.

Thats two we'll have to score IF we're gonna win.
  • Personally think Tudgay will play in line with Ajdarevic but more to the wing, they'll link up well them two, they can both sit in behind Church but Tudgay can overlap at times. Will work a treat if and when we have the ball, the other 7 outfield players have to be ball getters and grafters.

They think, they're great, they won eight.
They'll never get nine in a row.

    We didn't think we'd get 5, 6, 7 or 8...
  • They will be very confident and come out all guns blazing. Subdue them for 20 mins, slowly get a foothold and beat them one nil. Job done.
