Billy Sharp

Typical, he has signed on loan for Doncaster for the rest of the season, he has already scored against us for Reading. Pretty useful striker at this level.
Hope he's not the difference between them us on Tuesday.

Comments

  • Put your house on him scoring against us, class player.
  • More than useful at this.level.

Was on fire 2 years back...lets hope it takes him a while to readjust to life back home ...as if.

shame...always conscious of who those around us are signing. Sharp for doncaster is massive for them.

Jackson for us would be bigger still if he is anything like the form player that went to Norwich

he's there again !!! .. he's in and out of Donny more often than the trains to London .. Sharp by name .. Sharp by nature ..
  • Great signing for Donny, shame about that one. Would have liked him with us.

Are Donny loaded?? Must be on a fair wedge. He's a top championship striker though sadly for us - always hoped we'd sign him tbh but think he's one of those who likes his hovels northern.

We need to react to the signing of Billy Sharp. Millwall have also strengthened in that department. Worrying times.

Would definitely prefer Sharp to Simeon Jackson (if that's still on the card)

Let's face it even if we were in for him he would never have chose us over Donny, even more so knowing the fact his goals could send Donny down. He has that bond with a club that you don't see too often now days which is nice but just a shame it could have an impact on us.

Morro has done a job on the likes of Rhodes in the past. Time for him to excel again.

On 26 September 2013, Sharp joined Reading on an emergency loan deal, linking up with former manager Nigel Adkins.[46][47] Sharp scored his first goal for Reading on 3 December 2013 in their 1–0 home victory over Charlton Athletic.

that was a Tuesday night away game about 10 weeks after they signed him,

he has just signed for Leeds, and in about 12 weeks who do we play away on a Tuesday night.

Spooky. That is absolutely nailed on for a "Leeds to win 1-0, Sharp to be first goalscorer". Don't usually like betting against Charlton, but definitely gonna have to stick a pony on that.

So....... let me get this right:
    Different club
    Different manager
    Different date
    Different number of weeks
No Charlton links other than he's scored against us in the past.

So the link is..... we play him on a Tuesday?

Wow. You're on to something there Derren Brown. Spooky shit.

Too many clubs now, didn't do anything at Donny in his second spell, not convinced he will do anything at L**ds.
