We've had a lot of decent games with Narridge over the years, but i'm struggling to remember this one !

If I remember rightly, some Norwich fans were pissed off with El Karkouri during that game because he thrashed a loose ball into the away end, "nearly taking someone's head off."

My Norwich mate was in there that day and afterwards simply asked me "Who's that number 15 cunt?"

I think Norwich got relegated this season. It was around the time that we were taking Premiership football for granted a bit and all just went home smiling with another three points in the bag.

Liverpool won the Champions League this season.

    Did this actually happen?

I think this was about the time this bloke to my left used to moan about Luke Young all the time. Would love to know his thoughts a couple of years later with Simon Francis !
  • I was at uni at the time and half the campus turned in to Norwich fans after they got promoted. I can confirm that it did happen and was fantastic.

Nope, can't remember it at all (just like Spurs away 2-3).

I know I was there, I'm always there.

Weird. I had a bloke to my left that used to moan about Luke Young all the time. His name is Rich.

What the hell happened to JJ?! Absolutely superb striker when we first got him, he just looked weak and ineffective for the last two or three years he was with us.

Remember this game, and inded Norwich getting relegated. Whilst we were busy sending Palace down, Norwich went into the final game of the season away to Fulham with their fate in their own hands, but proceeded to lose 6-0.

Mediocre season for us, finished 11th and only managed to do the double over Spurs and Everton : - )

    I remember this match.

We played Curbs' much abused 4-5-1 at home with JJ operating out wide. Lisbie was surprisingly effective as the "one" but, as was unfortunately his wont, got injured not long after.

As Mr Largo says a boring midtable season in the top tier of English football.

That's funny, there was a bloke who sat in front of me who always used to moan about Luke Young...#northstandultras

I see he got an assist in this game too! Not a bad defender but never England class and hugely over-rated by many most...

Remember this one quite well, unlike many matches in recent times. Like someone said, El Kak smashed one into the Norwich fans, suspect someone got a sore head as a result. Was this the season Delia went a bit mad on the pich at Carrow Road one night?

This was my 2nd ever game, and I missed the last 2 goals due to reading the programme. I learnt my lesson then.
  • How can I forget this one - left home at 9am but major oil tanker spillage on M25 closed from junction 7 to junction 4 - meant 6 hour drive from Bournemouth.
Longest I've ever had to hold in a piss
Had both my kids with me (12 and 10) was supposed to go to my Mum's for lunch in Bexleyheath.
Instead major detour off M25 towards Croydon, then West Wickham, Beckenham, Catford etc.
Got to the Valley turnstiles just after the second goal was scored!
Was it really 9 years ago!

Is it really? Good Lord! Where has the time gone?

That little schoolgirl who sat next to me that day took me in a box at Reading on Saturday.
