Lol, cheers Roy. Never knew that about Ben Odeje.0
-
What did I say Roy0
-
Barry hearn has refuted that Ben was the first to play and therefor is banned from todays experience0
-
I hope they have remembered to invite John Chedozie0

Anyway, we all know Basil D'Oliveira was earlier.0

I have just sent this link to Leyton Orient commercial, and Pete Stevens at BBC Radio London 94.9. I'm sure Chris Powell will appreciate my best endeavours, even if the trolls on here don't.0

That's rich, coming from you.Roy said:I have just sent this link to Leyton Orient commercial, and Pete Stevens at BBC Radio London 94.9. I'm sure Chris Powell will appreciate my best endeavours, even if the trolls on here don't.
Seriously, you've been on here countless times posting exactly the same thing. You've brought it to our attention - countless times - so well done.

I think they will be more interested in the one where you didn't go to a party0

I think you'll find Troy Townsend is Andros Townsend's Dad. I've just heard him interviewed on 5Live, and as well as seeing his son score on his England debut he was at Buckingham Palace this week to receive a medal for outstanding contribution and service to grass roots football:Roy said:I believe Troy Townsend, Kick It Out's 'Mentoring & Leadership Project Manager', is the brother of Andros Townsend, who last night put in a superb debut performance for England against Montenegro at Wembley.

I think it underlines Sol Campbell's criticism of the make up of Greg Dyke's FA Commission when they can't find room for someone like Townsend senior to be part of it:

Sol Campbell is just trying to find a purpose in life now his career is over and isn't sure what to do. Would be nice if he thought about seriously putting something back into the game rather than constantly bitching and crticising others who are trying to do the very same.micks1950 said:

As for Troy Townsend, maybe he didn't want to or have the time to be involved?0 -
Its possible Troy Townsend didn't want to or have the time to be involved (he seems pretty busy) – but it also possible he wasn’t asked – and I only mentioned him as a topical example of someone who might have a useful input to Dyke’s commission.Off_it said:

As regards your comments about Sol Campbell, you do seem to be playing the man and not the ball. So, bearing in mind the large number of black players in and around the England squad and within the leagues, don’t you think the FA’s commission on ways of improving the national team would benefit and be more balanced with the involvement of at least one black player/coach/manager – out of 8 members appointed so far and the "one or two other people who have not made up their minds" that Dyke says he has approached?

if a black person was picked because they were black and not better than the people put in the committee then surely that's more damaging0
-
Dianne Abbott's probably got a bit of free time on her hands now, since she got binned form the front benches.0

@micks1950 thank you very much for this vital information, it explains a lot, I met Troy Townsend with Clarke Carlisle at this event http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/56179/kick-it-out-meeting-with-clark-carlise-the-current-chairman-of-the-pfa/p1 and Troy tried to take complete control of the agenda, and exclude the developments associated with Charlton Athletic that began with Ben Odeje. I made sure that our South London voice was heard VERY LOUDLY. I heard Bradley Allen say earlier today that he got it wrong with Andros, and he tried to unload him from Spurs at 14 because he didn't like his attitude (or maybe it was his dad?). I think Chris Powell & the club will have been greatly enlightened by your informative 'A BLACK HISTORY MONTH FOCUS FOR GREG DYKE & HIS NEW FA ENGLAND COMMISSION' comment, I know I have.micks1950 said:

PS Sol Campbell has made a valid point too.0 -
Roy, how many more times are you going to start a discussion about Ben Odeje ?
The first one may have been informative, but now it's just plain silly and making you look like a complete crank.0 -

It is an ongoing development that started with Ben Odeje.0

You come on here spouting the same old guff all the time, making no sense and talking in riddles, pushing just one agenda - but I'm the troll?
Do you even support Charlton? Genuine question.

As a true lover of football who PLAYED for Charlton Athletic http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150212137514569&set=pb.540164568.-2207520000.1381657942.&type=3&theater I have today given the BLACK HISTORY MONTH team in Central Library, Bexleyheath full details linking them to this very important thread, I would like to thank @micks1950 for his truly genuine, and valuable contribution to the discussion.0
-
So, I guess that's a "no" then.
Why on earth you would want to send people a link to this thread is beyond me.0 -
Just found out I'm mates with Ben Odeje's brother. I would ask him about him but y'know what? I feel like I already know more about him than he does!0
-
I'm really looking forward to the England game against Poland tonight. Let's hope that Andros Townsend has another cracking game, and that Greg Dyke and his new FA England Commission get their BLACK HISTORY facts correct from inception, so that the true story, and associated struggle for FARE JUSTICE NOT VENGEANCE 1971-2013 is revealed, and not buried by a misleading, money making film about Laurie Cunningham, that will obscure Nigerian born Ben Odeje & Charlton Athletic's unique place in footballing history.
It would be insane for Charlton Athletic, and their fans to allow somebody to rewrite history, and exclude their own groundbreaking contribution to education and sport 1971 -2013. I've also suggested to BEN TV that a film about Ben Odeje would be massive in London & Africa too.0 -
Oh.0
-
Today I have updated Bishop Richard Moth, RC Bishop of the Forces, and Chair of Governors at St Mary's University College Twickenham. I trust that Charlton fans, and the club itself will approve.

I would approve if I had the slightest idea what you are banging on about.0
