    Hamer - 7 couple of important stops when we were under the kosh.
    Solly - 6 poor first half much better in the second.
    Morrison - 4 second best all afternoon
    dervite - 5 let them in behind a couple of times but otherwise ok
    Wiggins - 4 his current form Is worrying, aimless with a lot of his forward play defended ok might have done better for their first but shouldn't have been left marking O'Grady for the second.
    Wilson - 5 fairly anonymous but showed a bit of urgency once we started playing at 2-0 down
    Harriott - 5 ineffective
    Gower - 6 same as Solly
    Stephens - 5 got stuck in but didn't control the middle first half
    Church - 5.5 generally kept quiet but finished off his chance albeit just.....
    Kermorgant - 5 well marshalled by their backs but an intelligent through ball to set Church free for the equaliser
    Cousins - 8 looked the part, composed got stuck in when it was needed and simple but effective use of the ball. Deserved his goal although I don't expect that to be a major part of his game. Box to box player that we've been crying out for. I hope his time has come as he looks like a find.
    Cort - 7 defence looked better once He came on, didn't get bullied like the first half showings.
    Evina n/a - ok looked more of a threat than Harriott.

    Solly-6.5 Improved a great deal 2nd half

    Wilson-6.5 Put in a shift but just looks unfit and first touch needs to really improve
    Harriott-6.5 Improved in 2nd half when he actually stayed on the wing rather then trying to cut inside

    Stephens-5 Barnsley were dominant in centre midfield giving no space and Stephens had no answers

    Actually, all have Cort as the best defender, despite coming on at half time; not saying too much about Solly's distinctly average performance.

    Hamer - 7 did okay this week couple of good stops and commanding at their numerous corners.
    Solly - 6
    Morrison - 4 Another distinctly below-par game. (Did he have a Teflon coating on his boots?) I'd consider dropping him for Wood.
    Dervite - 5 An average score for an average performance
    Wiggins - 5 Better than last week but the left side of the team were pretty anonymous.
    Wilson - 6 Provided a work rate that has been missing from midfield
    Harriott - 5 See comment for Wiggins. Poor choices taken at times.
    Gower - 6 Someone wearing pink boots has got to be better than this.
    Stephens - 5.5
    Church - 7 Lots of movement off the ball but his runs were rarely spotted by his team mates.
    Kermorgant - 5 Lost the battle with the Barnsley defence
    Cousins - 7 Extra point given for his goal; point deducted for giving the ball away for their second. Only player who seemed capable of consistently passing to a team mate without having to trap the ball first.
    Cort - 6 Fairly solid.
    Evina n/a - No points but he did okay. Seemed to realise that it isn't necessary to beat a full back before hitting the cross over.

    Hamer - 7 amazing double save in the first half. We would have been dead and buried if it wasn't for him there.
    Solly - 6 for me he just doesn't seem up for it this season so far. Improved in second half though
    Morrison - 6 almost cost us a goal very early on but other than that was very solid.
    dervite - 6 not sure why he was taken off, he played as if he'd injured himself anyway ;-)
    Wiggins - 7 improved in the second half, his link up play with Harriott at times was obismal. Someone needs to reiterate the meaning of pass AND move to those two on the left.
    Wilson - 7 grew into the game like most of the players in the second half, showed a lot of fight in the latter stages
    Harriott - 6 took on a few players in the first half but faded for parts but then came back into it.
    Gower - 7 made himself busy and passed the ball about and switched play affectively
    Stephens - 6 st doesn't want to be here. Simples.
    Church - 7/8 chased everything, took goal well too.
    Kermorgant - 6 bit worried about our go to man.
    Cousins - MOM 8 changed the game.
    Cort - 8 brought an essence of solidity to the back, no one was getting past him. LEON LEON.

    There was a lot of low marks added in for Powell last week. Funny how it is his subs this week that have the highest mark and who by the looks of it changed the game yet no one has added in a mark for Powell this week.

    This is the first match I've attended this season, so just added the marks that were requested. Powell's subs changed the game, so on that basis I'd give him an 8. If we're adding extras marks, I'll give the ref a 3; no shocking decisions, just consistently the wrong decision, both for and against us.

    as the thread is called "Players Marks" there is no need to mark any of the management team or the physio, so if people wish to mark any of them that's up to them but it is not part of the marking system. Also those who marked CP last week quite possibly weren't at Oakwell.
