If there is a public holiday to celebrate the birth of the royal baby I'll be livid. Everytime the royal family decides everyone deserves to take a day off work us freelancers don't get paid.

Also saw this on the royal baby wiki page

"The pregnancy was described as being a source of British national pride comparable to Olympic success and pub lock-ins"

I don't think the RF get to say whether we should have a day off - usually that's fawning politicians who foist it on us. Though it does amuse me when Call-Me-Dave moans about the damage that a few people in say the rail industry going on strike will inflict on the nation's economy and then gives us all a day off to celebrate a wedding or a fly-past.

we just came back from lunch and there was a different looking ambulance driving into the hospital, so we stood on the hot stairwell staring at this ambulance taking an age to reverse, then we only saw the man get out the back. other people got out but we couldn't see.

If Prince William is wearing denim shorts and multicoloured striped vest then they're in the hospital.....

I wish I could convey accurately just how much I don't care.

More trivial irrelevance to distract the great unwashed.

That's exactly what Wills told Kate when he was trying to impregnate her.

My money's on Osama. Boy or girl.
  • I'm changing my mind a bit , I like the sound of a King Arthur or Queen Charlotte.

I'm pleased for the 2 of them after the crap William had to go through as a kid the guy deserves

I like the sound of King Robocop the first.
My mate once promised me he'd name his firstborn robocop. He reneged. I still haven't forgiven him.

Hopefully they'll approach Katie Hopkins for her input on the child's name

Something that doesn't begin with A/B/C/D for my bet would do nicely. It also has to be born after midday, weigh more than 7lbs, Will to be holding it when they come out and Kate to be wearing Blue to win £34.
