Only 90%? What's wrong with these people?!

I think it should be the Men In Black myself...

It's worse than that it's 41 [shakes head in disbelief].

    :-)

But football fans being what they are, I wonder how many other clubs fans would have a 90% approval rating of their manager. I mean really, which club, now that SAF has departed? Weren't some Cardiff fans trying to get rid of Mackay, this season (especially after we beat them)?

I believe it is because they think SCP should be the Prime Minister instead.

Possible that some pushed the wrong answer?! The main thing is that a massive majority want him to stay... and that the fans are evenly balanced as to whether we should try to spend our way to promotion.

You're right. There were Moo fans that claimed SAF was tactically naive, so 90 pc is probably as good as it gets.

Well Nelson Mandela doesn't have long so the black population need a new hero.......

....because in case nobody had noticed Chris Powell is a black manager, one of only a couple in the footbal.......blah blah :-)

    41 - 1.8% scored 1 - strongly disagree
    26 - 1.2% scored 2 - disagree
    159 scored 3 - neutral
    416 - 18.6% scored 4 - agree
    1,598 - 71.3% scored 5 - strongly agree

    So 3% disagreed

The survey was across all Charlton fans - of 2,252 replies, 272 were trust members... And 9% of Trust members did not put 4 or 5 to this question...

76% of trust members put 5 which is much higher than scores registered by fans NOT interested in the Trust... 66% of these fans scored CP renewal with a "5"

Trust members and subscribers tend to score higher on all questions - as do users of Charlton Life who also scored 74% "strongly agree"

We will apply some analysis and graphs to all the questions and publish soon

Cheers. Good top box score, actually outstanding. Look forward to the deeper analysis. Good piece of data for any prospective owners to be aware of.

Frankly I'd be delighted with that approval rating in my job!
  • What was the question?

CAFC have had two great seasons - What do you agree with below to push forwards? (1 = disagree and 5 = agree strongly)...Give Chris Powell a contract extension to keep him at CAFC

If there's one thing I know following football over the years it's that there's an awful lot of fans with awfully short memories. Managers are increasingly only judged on the last few games it seems these days therefore the timing of the question can effect the responses.

Don't forget, if many posters on here had their way Chrissy would have been out at the end of his first season!

90% is very high and good enough, 10% aint significant. Got to remember as well the question was part of a number of options. Look out for the survey results in full this week.
