AFKA introduced me to @Len Glover on Saturday & I'm still chuckling to myself everytime I read one of his posts.

My expectation was he would be like one of the old gits/Paul Whitehouse from Harry & Paul.

He looked about 10/15 younger than I had envisaged & was very cheerful.

My flabber has not been so gasted for a long time :-)

I would never ever have guessed it was him.

    @The Prince-e-Paul, expected him to be holding a towel, having just come back from a pool party with one of his footballer pals and some ladies. Imagine my surprise when he appeared fully dressed, with not so much as a wet hair on his head and without a towel in sight.

    Stewart was everything I hoped he'd be and more! I've also met Choice. Funnily enough he wasn't smashing up the toilets in the Howard in Sheffield, nor was he denegrating Chris Powell's managerial abilities. He seemed, on the surface, an alright bloke!

    I saw Choice get chucked out at Carlisle once for being rude to the tea ladies...obviously in character then!

    Was that an away game? If so it wasn't him you met, but Beer Monster. Stewart only does the occasional home match.

    Choice was exactly as I'd imagined. A bit cheeky but in an inoffensive way...and he has a passion for life that is rare.

    For ages, I thought that Suzi was another charlton fan called sue (curb it, you'll know who I mean)

    It was back in the net addicks days and was shocked when I first met her at one of the nights in the market porter!

    Desperately tried earlier on the train but wouldn't go through. Didn't matter in the end, as no doubt he was having a nap or eating his supper as his he would like to call it.

    He was very genorous with buying the beers, I'll give him that. Effing useless at looking after umbrellas though.
