The fact is the Venkys never sacked Steve Kean when they should have done. Kean resigned the night before we played them at home. Now the Venky's have sacked 2 managers who between them have lasted 124 days. They should never have sacked the first one and let have the time to impose his own style and get in his own players.

Surely there needs to be much tougher rules of who can and who can't run a football club. And surely there must be rules of when you and when you can't change your manager and this stage of the season would not be one of the times you can change you gaffer. Also there needs to be a rule only allowing 1 change of manager a year.

Were Blackburn not something like fourth when they sacked Kean?

Apparently he let some Burnley fans use his spare season tickets despite being against the terms and conditions of their issue.

Best laugh I've ever got from reading a post on CL.
god knows why they chose him as he seemed to be doing a good job of wrecking Blackpools season.
Watched the replay against Smallwall and they were dreadfull, no service what so ever to a 11 mill plus strike force and no shape.
Don't feel sorry for the Blackburn fans after all the abuse they gave Kean.
Wonder who will pick up that poisoned chalice?

That club is rotten to the core. Not unlike the Venkies chicken drumsticks.

    Warnock to Blackburn ?

Who's gonna accept the job now ? certainly not someone who's already got one.
Warnock has 6 weeks left on his contract, which is not being renewed by Leeds.
Its not not being renewed, Warnock has said he won't do another year in the championship. He is done.

Seems Shebby Singh has got his way, he never wanted Appleton.

Who heard Shebby Singh in his interview on the radio with Robbie Savage and Mark Chapman?

It was just after Henning Berg had been sacked and there were a load of questions over what on earth was going on there and the fans were in a rage. First question they asked him was "Shebby, before we go on, we just want to clarify exactly what your role is within the Football club?"

And he replied with "Haha, not telling!"

Who will want the job knowing they'll get very little time to produce results?

    Dowie is a good shout.

Lives locally, out of work, does a good interview.

No doubt he is touching up his "reviving the Rovers" presentation right now.

With 3 failed managers surely whoever has been given these owners advice on who to pick as manager ought to be sacked as well!?

They should relocate to Italy...Palermo sacked their manager at the end of January, put another bloke in who they sacked about three weeks later. They then reappointed the first guy... and sacked him again two weeks after that.

I agree, he's exactly the sort of person they'd probably appoint!

And so they should seeing as their centre forward cost more than our entire team.

Stuart Pearce, his contract with FA runs out I believe and was article in paper today about what club will possibly take a chance on him. Blackburn are mad enough to and I dont' think he'll have that many opportunities.
