Thats a barbued spare ribs, a chicken chow mein and a crispy duck please
  • I thought this was going to be a "Who has been our best numbers 12, 14 and 19 over the years?" thread.

For what it's worth, number 12 is Steve Brown, for me.
Not that I can remember who has been number 12 since, or the other squad numbers.

Stop trying to save a dying thread. It's gone, deal with it and walk away.......................................................

  • No, come on, we can do this!

Who was a better number 14, Mark Bowen or Matt Spring?!
(I only have three past programmes in the bookshelf next to me!)

  • They should retire the number 19 after what it did to Rommedahl and Francis. Or maybe they were just always shite

Bournemouth like Francis don't they? Not sure why he was such a failure down here. the Rom always plays well for Denmark too

My favourite number, hope they do retire it as I can then get my name and 19 on the back and I'll have more chance of being picked out of the crowd when BWP pulls up with a hammy!

Yeah but he was poor in his first few seasons.

Thought Toddy was quality in our Prem return season.

Thinking back to our bizarre 93/94 squad numbers, which were one season only squad numbers,
    number 12 was Garry Nelson
    number 14 was Shaun Newton
    number 19 was Mike Salmon

Newton in terms of overall Charlton appearances would be well ahead of any other No 14 I guess.
