I learnt something by reading this......

That Ronald McDonald supports Charlton (see the bottom of the posts by 'Miss Selhurst' (bet she's a right sort !!)).

But they don't care about us.......honestly......

beeing called 'the adverticer' meens they probly make more mony from ads than from selling paypers so if you have a go at their advertizing revenews then you woud reely get at them write and propar.
nobody buys the evening standard and they dont care about that as long as you reed there ads

    Clever advice from Miss Selhurst

Liam Melody, 19, of Stanley Gardens, Wallington, ran into court crying for his dad after a partition above the urinals at Croydon Magistrates' Court fell on his head, causing a gash.

'Vic Eagles' states that.........'The paper is now a laughing stock'. In that case I would say it's admirably qualified to report on Palace and its peculiar suporters.

least that's one for the famous Charlton fans thread
  • To be honest, reading the article sounds like the plod are fixing the case up to get him done. Talking confrontationally? When did that become crime of the century? Fuck, PC Plod should come to site meetings more often.

Not heard of the Ultras causing any real trouble & nobody has any idea about this mob charging at Millwall fans last season!

If a 19 year old son of mine rushed back into a court crying for me I would make out I did not know him

I thought it was funny reading the first few posts on the cpfc forum, the guy calling for the boycott is clearly not getting any momentum on this one.

That is fecking hilarious....the toilet door was probably wearing a scarf too and minding its own business.

Yeah, and holding a much smaller cupboard door by the handle too if they run true to form.

Sounds like a lovely chap, i shall join the boycott by living in an area where it is not delivered - justice to the people!

McDonalds opened its first branch in Woolwich (1974). I guess that would mean Ronald supports his local team.

Another interesting fact if you are an anorak like me. A comic was published in 1970-1 about Ronald McDonald. The company who took out the license.............................. 'Charlton Comics'!
