Wasn't going to post this last night for obvious reasons but poor Paolo lost his mother shortly before the Swindon game yesterday and seemed to be in pieces for most of the game from what I've read. Sadly I believe he has lost both parents now in a few months.
A true mark of the man that he wanted to take charge of the game which was reflected in the applause he received from both sets of supporters when it was announced.

Yeah I'd like to second that. It must be awful losing one parent but to lose 2 in only a few months must be horrific. Good luck PDC.0

I think there may have been an element in that Dazzler. I'm sure they are good friends and Chris would have been aware of the situation.0

I can empathise with Paolo having lost both parents within a fortnight of each other last year.
No matter how well you are prepared for it,you never are.0
