Would he consider doing an 'evening with' at all, possibly with Clive himself?

What was your reaction, when the ref gave offside against you at Anfield, when you were clean through facing an open goal?

At what exact time in the early hours of saturday morning did decide that Clive was Lionel Messi?

Can you get Steve Speroni to reply to his e-mails?

Can he explain why he was known as "Soapy Jones". For the newer members of this board I was in a former life "addickted" on the old board and I straw polled the membership for suggestions, Soapy got it.

Was there a particular time or incident during that great season when you got a sense that we could get promoted?

Sure. When Sasa saved Michael Gray's penalty.

And it wasn't for offside, but giving us a free kick back in our own half as whoever had played the ball through had been fouled...worst decision not to play advantage ever, all the ref needed to do was LOOK for one second at where the ball had gone

John Robinson was the fouled player IIRC...

That's what I remember. I think he was typically restrained in his reaction.

apart from the cross for Mendonca's Wembley third, didn't he win a tackle just before that, clean as a whistle, then got up to cross for Mendonca? .. Jones was a very underrated player and was vital to our success that year. I was at the first game that year at M'Boro when he scored in a 2-1 loss .. that day he and Mendonca, who was making his league debut, looked a natural partnership.

Yardley had a large factory in Basildon where, I think, Steve worked whilst playing for Billericay before going big-time at WHU.

I believe that immense tackle was by Steve Brown. It was the sort of tackle that could nowadays get you sent off, but in reality it was just the hardest, fairest, bestest tackle ever made.

Again I am probably wrong, where the f*** has that video gone !!!??? I now think it was Steve Brown .. THAT tackle it could be argued won us THAT game and promotion .. that's what is so compelling about sport .. thin margins etc .. as the Duke of Welling(ton) said after Waterloo .. 'it was a damned close run thing'

Sorry to say that Steve was unable to attend last night. We're not sure when he's next due to visit. We'll let you know nearer the time.
