Anyone watch it?

There was some excellent snooker played today by both Judd Trump and Mark Allen.

    Yes.  Thought it was excellent.  Wanted Trump to win, but ended up feeling sorry for Allen as he came back so well.

    A good final. Normally would want trump to win but on this occasion wanted allen to win (as it would have given him a little more power in his argument with hearn).
    No doubt hearn is good for the game but he wants everyone to shut up and toe the partyline.

    Good snooker maybe, but where are the personalities and characters of the 70's and 80's?

    John Virgo's early end of session cabaret must be very boring.....

    that's why Hearn is so successful .. my way or the highway .. he ran snooker in the late 70s and 80s, made millionaires out of a LOT of players, especially Steve Davis, then got involved in boxing and made loads of money for his fighters and THEN bought Orient and turned them into a viable little club .. Hearn is East End done well through and through, a bit like the Curbishley family,  I admire a very hard headed and successful man. If Allen doesn't like it then let him go play solo.
