Denman retired

One of the toughest, one of the greats. Gold Cup winner (three times runner up) and twice winner of the Hennessy off top weight retired this morning due to a tendon injury.

    Shame he never got his crack at the National. Could have been amazing.

    Love the Tank. Was really looking forward to seeing him n the Lexus.

     

    Never forget this moment from this years festival - i had backed Denman on course but the roar when he and Kauto turned for home together was something i'll never forget.
