Also if the O's don't sell theirs then presumably block get taken back and given to us. Which is why they are selling block by block and because all ours will sell, we were allowed all ours for sale at once
But why would Orient already have been allocated more tickets unless they’ve shifted a significant percentage of their original allocation?
They would have been given a full allocation in the unlikely event they did actually shift them all. Instead some of the blocks will be reserved for them but only available to sell if the demand is there.
I’m not being funny but 1800 tickets for Wycombe got to Phase 4 or 5.
My Dad and I have been to over a thousand CAFC games easily between us and at this rate we won’t get tickets at 2pm tomorrow. As Golfie said, 4 tickets per season ticket holder is an absolute outrage. It’s simply not fair.
With a 39,000 allocation my Dad and I should easily be able to get tickets! Every Charlton fan should be able to!
Every Charlton fan will. We will get given up to 52,000 tickets if we sell out the first lot and no way we sell 52,000.
Would be funny if we did though, then we could say to the spanners“you only took 45,000?“

This is why another poster accused you of being a millwall supporter 😂
Well that was the most stressful thing I’ve ever done! Amazed looking back on here at 3.05 seeing people say how easy it was!
We were needing to buy across two transactions to get family together. Had 3 of us queuing, the one who joined the queue last was in within 1 min and got 12 together. Then had to wait another 20 mins for the second device to get the rest. Fortunately seats were still there, so we were all sorted. Then on the very last step, the pay now button on the laptop just wouldn’t proceed. Tried everything. Got them to queue again on another device and when they got in the tickets were not in her basket. The basket only works on the device you were using. By now there were no areas in the lower teir with 3 or 4 together, let alone what we were hoping for. Then the original 12 timed out, and frantically trying to buy the tickets on release while competing with others. Got some. You think you’ve got seats but then you go to add to basket and turns out you didn’t. Trying to track when you’re stressed who can now sit together where, what concessions you need, what Fan IDs you’ve used etc

Their fans are only estimating they will end up selling between 25k and 32k so they can’t be selling that fast to warrant more tickets on top of the initial 37k

Both teams have been allocated 36,945 tickets. Orient are selling theirs block by block, which I presumed meant they didn’t think they would sell theirs full allocation and thus could give some back. We’ve put our entire allocation on sale, meaning we think we’ll probably sell it.
@Rock Spectacle has now said that Orient have been given an additional allocation, which surely would only happen if they have sold a very significant chunk of that original 36,945 allocation?

We’re there. but man, things are never easy!

Managed to get 48 tickets in the end, with a big chunk of them together where we wanted to be, but it was a stressful afternoon which just got a lot worse.
O’s have not even added all their blocks available to purchase yet. O’s Forums estimate seem to range from 25-32k on the day. We will be given more around the time of general sale (Tue/wed) for sure.
I've lost all confidence for next week. Completely deflated this evening
Forget about it. It’s completely irrelevant to us.
I really don't think it is. I think it could change the trajectory of their club. Their manager probably stays, their best players, the money, the appeal. Genuinely dreadful day.
And even if it doesn't, it's still put a massive dampener on Sunday for me personally.
Anyway, not the thread for it, but fuck me, that's a shit day.

It certainly makes a pitch invasion for beating Wycombe in L1 look a bit tinpot. And they can rightly mock it now, the insufferable c***s.
Orient haven’t announced anything about more tickets
Of course they haven't. People are just making stuff up.
I would imagine that what might've happened is that they have sold another block or two and so that's opened up more of their initial allocation for sale, given their tickets were being sold on a block by block basis.
My prediction is they wont sell their allocation and so we will be allocated more seats in blocks 122 and/or 526. That's what happened last time vs Sunderland.

They can’t mock anything … whatever we do will always be a class above the Surrey Ultra pisspots
