Do we know the status on this? I would hope they would be, as they are league games, but I wouldn't be that surprised to learn that the latest idiotic EFL/Sky deal has some kind of nasty carve -out.
In 2019 I am pretty sure the semis were on iFollow, with Tel on commentary, don't know about the final, as I was there.

edit. Sorry didn’t read this properly, no idea if they are on Charlton TV, thought Sky had the monopoly on the play offs
If this were the case, then as a subscriber I should be able to use my VPN to switch from Czechia to somewhere not on the list, but I have a feeling I tried it once before and it didn't work because somehow I got geo-blocked. I could test it for the up-coming league games, I suppose. Normally I don't need the VPN, but if I use it, set to some country that hasn't bought the EFL rights, it ought to work.
Anyone who has more info, please post. I might still make it over for the games but currently I am under a no-fly banning order (not on a terrorist watch-list, but my big toe is banned, after a small op.)
The whole thing is ridiculous and arguably constitutes mis-selling. What's the point of a deal to offer you a "season-Pass" of league football, only to deny you the most important, tension-filled games if your team is successful? And really, why can't the clubs be allowed to at least provide the streamed service to its overseas fans at least? I literally know of only one other active Charlton fan in Prague right now. Not exactly a lot of revenue for Nova Sport to lose if we are allowed to watch Charlton TV here instead is it? And if Nova Sport get more than 50 people watching our games in the whole country, I'd be gob-smacked.
Anyway, all is not lost. Luxembourg is not on the EFL's partner list...
It is stupid. It is bad business, conducted by second-rate people who degrade the word "marketing". We are all either going to head off to Luxembourg or watch a dodgy stream. So who benefits?
And I'm going to ask Gavin Carter about this on May 8.
Your point earlier about season tickets not covering the play-offs is not the zinger you think it is. ST holders still have a preferential chance to grab their seats for the play-off game at the Valley. If CTV viewers had been told that it's not covered but we will have the chance to pay £10 match pass, there would be no issue. We don't have that. A significant number of us have no legal and satisfactory way to watch the play-offs.
And last season was a tough watch...
