As my mate who supports Cambridge put it, away fans are in for a shock at the Abbey this season, as the capacity will only be 1,000, including 100 seats along the side of the pitch in a glorified beach hut.

Where are the other 900? 1/2 of the same end we've had in the past? Or somewhere else along sides? Or what?

Terracing along the same side apparently. No away fans behind the goal anymore.
Cambridge are giving the stand behind the goal (capacity 1,400) to home fans because seats in home areas have pretty much sold out for every game during the last two seasons and it's become increasingly difficult to accommodate families. Apparently, planning applications to build two new stands are due to be submitted around Christmas, although given how long it takes between applications and eventual completion, it looks like there will only be 100 stand tickets for away supporters for the foreseeable future.

10% of the available tickets being for those that actually want to sit as opposed to those that actually want to stand probably is about right for our away support
Bromley 1 up against Cambridge after scoring in the first minute. Some teams already playing their second game and we haven't even played one yet.
Edit: Make that 2-0.
Yes, it's slightly curious how late we're playing our games, I wonder whether it was our choice, or whether teams are just given the dates they will play.
Cambridge came from 2 down to lead 3-2, before Bromley equalised in the last minute. Cambridge then missed the first penalty before the next 9 were all scored.
Next game in the group is us versus Cambridge. Chelsea under 21's don't play their first game until a week later against Bromley.
Few League Two sides beat League One teams tonight. All the under 21 sides picked up at least a point with 3 of them winning in 90 minutes, 1 on pens, and 1 losing on pens.
Elsewhere some guy named Alfie May missed the crucial pen as Birmingham lost to Walsall. Birmingham's starting lineup included Stansfield and cost about £22m.
Walsall played some of their subs and youth team players as well. Brum had May and Stansfield up front for 90 minutes and needed their centre back to scramble a goal in the 87th minute to take it to pens.
Apparently Stansfield got the “shush” out for the Walsall fans when they got their goal as well!!
Got an Scottish ex pat former work colleague coming to the Bromley game with me, He's a raith rovers fan but his adopted local side is Bromley, Season Ticket holder. went to a game with him at Hayes Lane last season, nice set up

Presume he's injured ?
Think Cambridge might need to rethink their Twitter header advertising our BSM match
