Came with a bit of a fanfare and excitement. Looked good initially. Looked not so good just after that, then promptly disappears without a word into the black hole that is our treatment room, never to be seen again (maybe!).
Sometimes it's as much about the players head than the injury.
Very early to be suggesting that’s the case here.
Is it, doesn't have a great injury record.
Yes, he had a very good record until last season. He then picked up a major injury which can’t be explained as being in his head given he was playing 30/40+ games a season before that.
That's true. It's not in his head. Another lazy message board saying. The concern is he had 3 operations last season and that usually comes with consequences the following season, rather than magically return to your pre injury world.
We have brought in yet another unfit player. Ipswich must be laughing that we are paying his wages and not them.
This is the list of players we have brought in who are not fully match fit.
Camara Taylor Edun Watson T (the other Watson limped off last night as well) Jones (nearly there but unfit to start)
That is quite an achievement, or to put it another way only May, Campbell C and Isted were definitely fully fit. Abankwah, Tedic and Watson L the jury is out until they have done 90 minutes.
Give the man a chance ...... poor old Pearcey has had his hands full, having to step up and with 2 matches in 3 days. All he'd worry about is those players that he's been told are passed as fit to play, so he can select a matchday squad.
And in a couple of days time Pearce probably won't even be the manager!
So is that the (current) manager saying that no-one has a conversation with him about the current state of injuries and the length of time they're due to be out for?

No, he said he hasn't had much to do with the injuries, meaning he's only responsible for McGrandles' setback when he two-footed him in training
Probably does and he's just deflecting. Pretty poor manager if you didnt know the state of the injured players & when they would be back.
I disagree. You are in situ for a week, maybe ten days, in charge for two games, two games in the space of four days actually, so why would you be remotely interested in the fitness of a player whom you already know won’t be available to you for those games and for the next game it won’t be your problem anyway?

Pearce is just there as caretaker and that's it. His interest at this point is probably just whether or not they are fit to play right now, or not. That's it.
Physio and medical people will be aware of what's going on but it's literally not his problem at the moment.

'Hoping to be back in time for the playoffs'...
I've tried that approach with our injuries many times before. Doesn't work.
Could mean he got walked in on whilst on the shitter at the training ground!
