Think this gives really good balance down the flanks. Not like for like by any stretch but good options. Think this fella will turn out to be a very good signing. Only niggle is that this type of player isn’t always successful in a physical league where a few defenders will let him know they’re about. Won’t be suited to every game and will need good management to utilise him and the other wingers successfully. But excited to see him and takes a bit of pressure off CBT.

I hate Palace but the thought of one of their best young players helping get us promoted would be quote amusing. Hope he is decent and lives up to the hype. The pace of him and CBT should certainly have an impact. A striker, CB and LB now please.
Really pleased with this. I was impressed with him in the friendly against us last season. Let's hope he doesn't get recalled in January.
We needed a left footed winger,so he does offer something different to the others. Whether he plays on his natural side or as an inverted winger on the right remains to be seen.
Also great to hear him acknowledge Charlton and our fans. Not sure how that will go down with some of their fans though.

18 goals & 6 assists in 34 games (I think) in Premier League 2 playing wide. We don't want a striker to play alongside Stockley, so it has to be a wide goal scoring forward.

His age means he doesn’t take up a space and two players per position is the minimum we need.
He was at Chelsea until 2019, is an England youth international and Palace have just signed him up for 5 years. There’s a reason there was plenty of interest in taking him on loan.

The more depressing counter to that is that Palace, and indeed most Palace fans, wouldn't care if one of their youth players got us promoted, as we're way off being rivals to them at the moment.
Optimistic about this one, as a goal scoring pacey wide attacker was definitely something we definitely lacked. I imagine he might be able to play down the middle too
What I am starting to really enthuse about is that we are no longer a side that will have one target player to suss out and keep quiet to nullify us. We are building problems for other teams in a number of areas. 5 subs rule if executed well should really help our cause too…
