Denis Irwin (and Steve Bruce) as defenders at United yes, but Neville?
Nelson Vivas was a right back taking a penalty that I remember fondly.0 -

No coincidence that two of the first players Curbs signed were Nelson and Gatting.1 -

Best Right back penalty taker was Ray Stewart at West Ham. Although Graham Alexander must have ran him close.0 -
That’s all I’m up to date now with my vacuous try hard jokes. This time difference is a killer for my comic timing.1

He's done nothing yet..At any club he has ever played for.. No reason at all suggest rolling in at SE7 he will suddenly become a Konchesky etc
That said, I'm all for giving new players total support. Ghana has clearly seen something in him from last season and believes he can make the step up.
Welcome Mandela Egbo.

Six league starts and three assists isn’t bad going if you ask me…
A local player that showed plenty of promise early on, made a move that didn’t work out and is having to work hard to get his career back on the track it was previously heading.A very Charlton signing this.5 - Sponsored links:

Welcome Mandela Egbo.0 -
James Tavernier is one of the best out there at the moment
Has 42-goals from the penalty spot and he's another Right-Back0 -
I believe Swindon fans sung;
“He’s a star man, running down the right
his name is Manny Egbo and he’s fucking dynamite”
least we won’t have to get creative with a song2 -

”I know you won’t believe us, but we’re out the Kent senior cup”14 -

Good to hear Palace were miffed at the low level of compensation.2 -
Any reason he only played 9 or so games for Swindon last year?0
-
Yes, he joined them in March just to get fit.
They had injuries and he then got some games.5 -
Initially a good sign bringing players in early and bedding them in before the season starts.
To quote chief wum @seriously_red
Let's see where we are after 15 games.0
